I am not the shadow that dwells in cyberspace, nor the one who hides between lines of code, I don't just know how to speak in ones and zeros, nor am I afraid to connect with others Some say a programmer can't have a way with words If I can divide a system into its smallest parts, why can't I condense it until I turn it into a poem? If I can write in Python, why can't I write in verse? I learned to carry signals between people and machines Now I know how to carry words to connect with you I learned to hear a machine until it wanted to hear me Now that I have learned to hear, I can hear you Code is not just science and mathematics Code is philosophy, it is creativity, the ability to build any world where the only limit is imagination I refuse to be a stereotype, to be mere numbers, to be just another small cog in the system I want to connect with others, to create a new world and to prove you can make anything with a little imagination
